Busy weekend in Salima- Lake of stars is back.
Salima district will be a place to be this summer this coming weekend as the lake side district will host one of the biggest and important event.
The notable and very interest event this weekend starting from Friday is the annual festival Lake of Stars staged for the 15th time since its making which will be held at Kambumba Hotel in Salima district.
Manager for Kambumba Hotel Patrick Banda said the event will be of the great important to Salima Community as they will be looking to explore the business opportunities during the Lake of Star Festival.
“Let me assure people first of all that Kambumba is ready for the big event starting from tomorrow (Friday)and secondly this is an opportunity for the people living in surrounding areas to do business for the coming three days.” Said Banda.
Internment and social reporter at one of the biggest radio station in lake show area Chisomo radio Euriter Zuze said this is the biggest and one time life experience in one year period hence pleaded with the people to embrace and grace the event.
“When we talk about Lake of stars we are talking about the big event annually it very imperative for the people to come and be part of history from Friday.” Said Zuze
During the day of ideas on Thursday the management of Kambumba said this years Lake of Stars will be much different from the lest as the event will also be looking at empowering women as the female DJ’s will be given a chance to showcase their talents.
“This years Lake of Stars is looking at empowering women as we all know that even the whole world is talking about women empowerment.” Said Banda
