Nthanda Artworks assisting rising artists

By Ruth Salimu – Mana.

The renowned events planners here in Malawi, Nthanda  Artworks  have organised a worship concert where their signed artist, Shammah Vocalz, supported by  Kelvin Sings and Paul Kachala will perform on the day.

The event planners targeted these three talented young men as upcoming artists and that providing a platform for such artists is the main aim.

Speaking in an interview, the company’s events manager, Evans Chibade said apart from involving their artist Shammah Vocalz, they also decided to involve skilled artists like Kelvin Sings and Paul Kachala.

Chibade said the two are some of the artists who are rising and have something to offer which many Malawians have not experienced.

“Kelvin Sings and Paul Kachala are artists who are pushing up the ladder and we believe that these two have something to offer which many Malawians have not experienced.

“Besides, we aim at creating platforms for artists who are budding rather than those who have already made their name,” he said.

Chibade further said the two artists will be involved in most of the tours they have organised this year. He said he has interest to also sign Kelvin Sings and Paul Kachala in the near future to add to Shammah Vocalz.

“Kelvin Sings and Paul Kachala have not been signed by us but to be honest, it can be a great thing to have these two artists on board, in so doing, we will also be adding to the list of the artists we manage,” Chibade said.

He has since urged people to buy tickets for this worship night because it will be a great moment which they will never regret, saying the three young music artists are ready to deliver.

Confirming his availability on the worship night, Kelvin Sings who is also a worship leader at his church said he was honoured to be part of the event and that was ready to lead people in worship.

“When I was asked to be part of this event, I felt much honoured, I love worship music and I am a worship leader at my church, so I’m very excited to lead people in worship on this day. I urge them all to come and encounter Jesus,” he said.

The worship concert is set to take place on February 29 at Crossroads Hotel’s small auditorium in Lilongwe.
