Track-pad in EP project

A Lilongwe based up-and-coming dancehall reggae musician, Track-pad says he is currently in music booth recording new songs that will be included in his upcoming Extended Play (EP) titled ‘Stay focused’ which is scheduled to be released on September 26, 2020.

The artist, revealed about the development in an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana) saying that the EP will contain eight songs and will feature some of the country’s dancehall reggae music icons.

“I am currently working on my EP project which will have eight tracks and some of the songs will feature a range of country’s big dancehall reggae artists such as; Binge and Annie Matumbi,” Track-pad said.

He added that after releasing the EP it will be available on various music platforms including; www.malawimusic.comwww.malawiwanga.com as well as Mikozi Network and it will also be premiered on different local radio stations such as, Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) and Timveni Radio.

With inspiration from big names in the country’s dancehall reggae music namely; Positive Yute, King Chambiecco, Don Tars and Binge, Track-pad ventured into music industry in the year 2013.

In 2017, the artist released over five hits which included; ‘Fight fi success’, ‘love mood’ and ‘Never let you down’.

Along the way in 2018, the musician also released five songs titled; ‘nuh fredda na bway’, ‘Kick dem off’, ‘Kapolo wa chikondi’, ‘Abortion’ in which he featured TMK and ‘Undipatse mpata’ which he also featured TMK.

Last year, he released three tracks titled; ‘Ready to love you’, ‘we party’ which he featured Don Maffin and ‘Ah suh we party’ which he featured Prodigle.

The musician is confident that, his upcoming EP will be enjoyed by his music followers saying that its songs will carry the message which will cover real life topics.

“The songs from my forthcoming EP will cover real life situations which people experience in their everyday life and I am optimistic that my fans mostly the youth will enjoy the songs from the EP,” the Ready to love hit maker said.
