Up and coming Gospel artist to release an album

Lilongwe based Up and Coming Gospel hip hop artist popularly known as  Ty Godwa is set to release an album titled ‘Therapist’  in which he has feature several artists.

Speaking with Malawi News Agency (Mana) on Sunday, the artist said the album would be released on June 20, 2021 and will be launched on July 3, 2021.

He said the album is  educating, preaching as well as teaching people to receive Jesus as Lord of their lives as stipulated in the Bible in 2 Corinthians 5 verse 7, says if man be in Christ, he is a new creature old things are passed away, behold all things becomes new.

“The Album is educating people the importance of being in Christ just like Joshua 1verse 8 which talks about importance of Meditating and doing the word,” Godwa said.

He added that therapist album have 10 songs and have been produced By black tunes & major jocker beats.

The Therapist album has featured 20 artists and according to the up and coming artist it is one way of promoting team work and building one another just like Jesus did, additionally he added that it targets both young and old as Jesus is for everybody.

“Last year, I released Meditation Extended Play (EP) and people liked my music so I thought of recording an album hence the therapist album,” Godwa added.

The launch of the album will take place at Lilongwe Christ Embassy Kawale branch starting from 10:00am-7:00pm and charges will be K1, 000.00 per head.

Among other things the album is talking of a person who is in trouble and is seeking God to rescue him who (God) in this song is referred to a therapist.

The lyrics of the leading song in the album go like;

The up and coming artist started his  music in 2011 with Dj Kauden and so far he has released recorded other 30 songs since I started doing music, I run upgrade music brand I’ve bro Tyrant on it too.

One of the artist who has been featured popularly known as Achanza described the new album as a boom.

“The songs that are in this album are life changing and I will encourage people to buy this album because it’s going to touch their life,” he said.
