GLOBAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT SEEKS TO INSPIRE LEADERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The Global Leadership Network Malawi has said the summit scheduled to take place from 14th to 15th June would bring together leaders to sharpen and inspire leaders with insights and knowledge to enhance leadership capacity.
The Country Team leader for Global Leadership Network, Victor Mughogho said during a press briefing on Monday saying among others the summit will gather together, leaders from Churches, Arts and Society, government, academia, Civil Society among others.
He said the summit seeks to inspire and equip world class leadership that ignites transformation.
“As all leaders we affect society by the way we lead and therefore we would like to bring leaders together and sharpen their skills and inspire them with knowledge and skills for enhanced leadership capacity.
“We believe that when you are inspired and equipped you are able to lead differently and keep up with the pace of change amid the evolving challenges. And we are sure by the end of the summit leaders will lead their institutions and organisations differently,” said Mughogho.
Mughogho said among the topics include some of the ingredients for transformation be it in mindset change in leaders, a community or organisation among others.
The opening ceremony for the summit will be graced by President Dr Lazarus Chakwera among other key speakers from other countries.
The summit expects 500 leaders across different sectors.
