MOYALE BARRACKS HEAD COACH RESIGNS

By George Mponda – Mana.
Head Coach for Moyale Barracks Football Club, Nicholas Mhango has stepped down from his position.
According to a statement which has been released by the club, first Team Coach, Victor Chingoka has since taken over until the end of the season.
“Moyale Barracks would like to inform the public and all stakeholders that Head Coach Warrant Officer Class 2, Nicholas Mhango has resigned.
“The circumstances leading to his resignation are not related to team’s performance as he has been assigned other duties. Moyale Barracks football family will forever be indebted to Nicholas Mhango for his services and efforts,” the statement reads.
Mhango’s resignation has come coincidentally with the team’s poor run which has seen it fighting a relegation battle, having amassed 23 points from 20 games.
During Mhango’s last match while in charge, the team was hammered 4-1 by Silver Strikers at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on Wednesday.
Chingoka’s first game at the helm of the team will be against fellow relegation strugglers Extreme FC on Saturday at Nankhaka Stadium.
