NOTICE OF RETRACTION

Chisomo Radio Station would like to retract a story published on its online platforms on 24thApril, 2020 concerning social accountability at Salima District Council titled “Financial indiscipline at Salima Council betraying Makanjira residents” which was authored by one of our employee. 

We would like to allude to the fact that the story was a follow up on another story done by our reporter on 25thSeptember, 2019, on the state of affairs of Mnema Hospital hence it has been retracted both on our website and Facebook pages.

Chisomo Radio Station realises its full responsibility of informing the masses with adequate information that comes about through engagement of credible sources most of which are the stakeholders we work with. CRS also values the cordial relationship that it has with Salima District Council, CSOs network and the Members of Parliament of the district. 

We hereby apologise to all parties referred and quoted in the recent story both on mic and off mic without clear consent. We also regret any inconveniences the publication of this story might have caused.
