“Couple of months ago, we came and donated mattresses. Today, we have donated 21 metal beds out of 90 which we promised to buy.

“The beds will reduce congestion in hostels as learners will be sleeping comfortably and concentrate on their studies. We are glad that we are fulfilling what we promised,” he said.

Chairperson for Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Edinah Mfune said the donation would create a conducive learning environment for the students.

Head Teacher for the School, Elias James said the school faces a number of challenges and that the donation would enhance performance among the students as they would have a good place to sleep.

He promised to work hand in hand with students’ representatives to ensure that the beds are not vandalized.
