SACCO CHAPTER 2 DONATES ITEMS TO RESOURCE CENTRE IN NKHOTAKOTA.

Savings and Credit Corporation (SACCO) Chapter 2 has on Saturday 23rd October 2021 donated various items including food items to Nkhotakota LEA Resource Centre Primary School on International Credit Union Day

The rescue comes after seeing challenges being faced by the resource centre.

Vice-chairperson for chapter 2 SACCO, Lieutenant Colonel Richard Chidzungu said their organization thought it wise to assist and serve the community through such a donation and ensure that the centre has adequate resources.

Chidzungu further added by calling all individuals to join SACCO and benefit from the vibrant organization.

“To those who are doubting about SACCO, they are delaying themselves because SACCOs have province to be the only financial institution that contains more for their members. We are non-profit making but we try to implement social-economic of our members.” He said.

Acting District Commissioner Ben Matengeni Tohno commended SACCO Chapter 2 for the donation.

“As a district council, we are very thankful for the donation and we will make sure that the resources are used properly and Chief Education Officer including school committee will monitor the items regularly”. Said Tohno.

Nkhotakota LEA Resource Centre Headteacher James Mankhangala said the donation will go a long way in addressing some of the challenges that they have at the centre.

The assorted items include 1 Jaws Computer, 20 brail papers parking, 1 braille embosser, Perking braille, Printer, and foodstuffs such as 20 bags of Maize, 10 bags of Rice, 4 bags of Bees, Cooking Oil and Sugar.
