Democratic progressive party (DPP) has decided to hold its National General Council (NGC) meeting end of this month, DPP national spokesperson Shadric Namalomba said on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the party, signed by general secretary Democratic progressive party and spokesperson Shadrick Namalomba, the NGC will be held on Saturday June 24 at Nkopola lodge in Mongochi.
“In exercise of the powers vested in the central committee under article 9(5)(d) of the DPP constitution.to set the dates for meetings of the national governing council (NGC) the central committee resolved that the party shall hold the National Governing Council meeting on 24 the June 2023 at Nkopola lodge in Mangochi,” reads part of the statement.
Confirming the development with Chisomo Radio Station, Namalomba said among other things the NGC will decide the dates for the extra – ordinary and elective conventions, and members of the NGC are invited to attend this important meeting.
