Arsenal reject Roma's £13m offer for Xhaka

Arsenal have rejected Roma’s 15m Euro (£12.9m) offer for Granit Xhaka after it failed to meet their valuation of the midfielder.

New Roma boss Jose Mourinho is keen to take the 28-year-old Swiss international to Serie A after being appointed last month.

But it is understood Roma are also interested in Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz.

Xhaka joined the Gunners in the summer of 2016 for a reported £35m and has a contract until 2023.
