FAM to follow up on Malawian -UK-based striker Kumwenda as Liverpool plan to steal him from Leeds United
Football Association of Malawi President Walter Nyamilandu says FAM will follow up on UK-based striker Henri Kumwenda.It follow news that Liverpool and two other English Premiership League clubs Arsenal and Manchester City are interested to sign Leeds hitman.
The Malawi born striker is thought to have bounced back well from some long term injuries and is impressing with his performances at youth level.
He is a versatile player, although he is naturally a central striker Kumwenda can play on the wing as an inside forward, much in the mould of the Reds’ own front three.
If Liverpool sign Kumwenda it would be in keeping with their transfer policy and could prove incredibly fruitful in years to come.
